Last night, our prof kept us 20 minutes late again. >:(
The class next door was watching the Fellowship of the Ring. I could tell exactly what part of the movie they were at just by the music.

I downloaded the free version of the My Fitness Pal app onto my Palm, but I have yet to use it. Oddly enough, it doesn't work whenever I try to get it to log my activity. -_- Electronics rarely work properly around me. I must emit low levels of radiation or something. Other people have actually noticed the odd effect I have on computers, phones, fax machines, televisions, xerox machines, dvd players, cable boxes........ it goes on and on. My favorite was the time I went over to my cousin's house and immediately after I walked in the door, all the power went out.
It didn't go back on until I left. We tried the fuse box. And all the neighbors had power. It's just me.
The weekend is here once again! And once again I am hovering very close to 100 lbs. I've done awesome all week, there's NO REASON I can't do awesome all weekend. So far today I've had turkey bacon (45), and I'm going out walking instead of going on the treadmill. Must make use of the gorgeous weather before we get a freak heat wave. 'Tis clear and sunny out, and an expected high of 75 degrees. And god help me, I will get that Fitness Pal thing to work.
my boyfriend's mom is like that. She can't wear watches because they stop working, and whenever they stay in a hotel or something, they have to keep the room key away from her because she messes up the magnetic strip, and makes it so that the keys wont work lol
ReplyDeleteWow! Close to 100! Congrats! i am so happy for you....and so ashamed of myself!
ReplyDeleteKeep up the great work, beautiful!
I love your posts. When it comes to blogs, I enjoy posts that actually display parts of the writer's personality. And you're so good at that.
ReplyDeleteGood job on reaching 100! That must feel awesome!
Ahh, I hate when teachers keep you late... my biology teacher does sometimes, but my pscyhology teacher always lets us go like, 30 minutes early which is nice :P
ReplyDeleteHahaha that's so funny about the electronics. It reminded me of this book called So You Want to be a Wizard where this guy could talk to electronics and other inanimate objects xD but I guess that's sort of the opposite problem you have haha.
Goodluck with this weekend. Weekends are always harder.
Haha last night one of my profs told us he has a short attention span and doesnt want to keep us until 930, so we get to leave at 9. But then another always keeps us late so that I'm running for my next class, blechh.
ReplyDeleteAnd wow, congrats on 100. You're doing awesome!
o ur dman prof for keeping u late he should really stop doing that already
ReplyDeleteand that is so weird about the electronics hopefully u do get it to wokr though

i know we have the same weather though since we arent to to far from each other
enjoy ur walk hun
Oh God, that's hysterical! My housemates and I have the same problem with electrical equipment. I take out street lights, rows of them! It's a scream! I hope you get the little do-hickey to work. Mmmm... Lovely Sean Bean. Sorry, it's the northern accent! Ughhh... I'm so envious of your weather, I wouldn't mind a heat wave about now. Will answer your comments, as always beneath them. Thanks M. have a good one.X.
ReplyDeletesean beaaaannn muhahahaha
ReplyDeleteand thanks! I'm always happier when ppl who generally dislike poetry tell me they like what I'm up to...it makes me think I might be on the right track.
my aunt can't wear watches and shit coz she shorts things out all the time. she also has epilepsy? which is basically like electrical storms in the brain anyway.
which always reminds me of that scene in the movie Powder where he gets fried by like a bajillion kilojoules of lightning. lolol
coz I'm an asshat.
holla!
I would have walked out on him... lol
ReplyDeleteAnd thats sooo funny about the power! We were playing with a ouiji board when I was younger and told the board to show us a sign and then the power went out. Freakin spooky!
But have a fab weekend!
I love my palm btw! you'll get it to work ;]
Lilah
Oh...that clock on the side there is pretty cool :)
ReplyDeleteYay for you! HAHA that's interesting! Maybe you're *bad luck* :O Just kidding <3
I do the same thing! At one of my old flats I was banned from going into the wash house whenever the dryer or washing machine were being used, because they would spontaneously stop. This 'mutant power' became a running joke at that flat -.-;
ReplyDeleteWe've not been hit too badly here so far. It's coming from south-west, so most of the shit gets dumped on the other side of the Alps and on Fijordland. We have had snow to sea-level though! Mt. Cargill looks like something out of a climate-change-horror-film!
Random LoTR Amusement: A friend of the family has a son who refuses to go to Balclutha. Why? They filmed th river Anduin scenes on the Clutha river, and he is CONVINCED thathe will find the One Ring and become evil like Gollum. Ah, you gotta love the unreasoning terror of 8-year-olds!
Strange effect you have, lol.
